Sorry, but cannot see that.
Last year it was performances / squad good enough for a better points return, but 'luck' / refs conspired against us.
Now it's points return good enough (for our position we're in), and squad the envy of the rest of the div. (alledgedly).
The only thing missing is the comprehensive on field performance. But, we only at the start stage of the season and we have KR and Best to come out the blocks yet!
So, on paper, I cannot see how Venkys would not be fairly satisfied with the position.
Only the more astute 'on the ground supporter' can/could see the pitfalls ahead.
No, it's their pride that is being damaged, by thinking they have done more than enough and yet the 'ignorant/thankless' supporter still refuses to appear.
It's a business!

Spot on mate. They are all in this together and Kean is a key part. The late phone call might have been from Tim Sherwood (or other ex-Rover) saying he'd thought about it but changed his mind and would not come back to Blackburn for love nor money. Venkys think that getting ex-Rovers on their side will help them with the fans and it might be true although Hendry has had an opposite effect. If you can think of an old loyal ex-Rover who might be easily manipulated, there's your next Rovers manager.

The only way forward for us the fans is a full boycott of the next few home games, maybe just maybe the loss of further revenues as well as the embarrassment globally may just be enough to get this thick skinned joke of a man out of our club once and for all. AND YET

This person is sticking two fingers up in the face of every BRFC fan and townspeople of Blackburn, that is the measure of the man. Kean has not shown one ounce of dignity, he knows that if he walked away from the club then a healing process could begin for the fans, fans can unite, the club can begin a new chapter and Blackburn can start looking forward to a new period and BRFC would be in the spotlight for the right reasons and yet Keane refuses to do that and for that I absolutely despise the man and everything about him. This man is laughing in our faces and at our club, if he remotely cared about BRFC and the fans he would have resigned months ago, Kean is laughing all the way to the bank at our expense.

All Blackburn fans now need to act, a total boycott is needed for the next home match to show the world we are united and that we want this joke of a manager out of our club, our town and our lives for good.

Not saying you two aren't genuine,i'm sure you are.But for many,this situation is being used as an honourable excuse for staying away. The figures are flawed because they aren't boycotting,they were never coming in the first place.

No-one really cares that attendences are low. Kean has already told Venkys he expects them to return once we get promoted.

Dear Mr Stu--- , Fickle is someone who doesn't keep to their beliefs, not someone who knows what is wrong and then acts on it.

Whilst there has been mentions of fans staying away and low attendances which have been a concern for Venky's, it has been openly admitted and widely advertised in the press that the supporter disenchantment has, along with the the poor performance been the main catalyst for this recent sacking story.

Whilst I accept the stay away option as also having an impact, it has been nowhere near the effective as the mood on the terraces which has gotten the attendance of Desai. So when you berate those who stand in the terraces and weather the storm - and boy have we - with the labels and negative coverage the press have given us, whilst safely tucked in your nice warm home shaking a fist at the tv and blasting us on here, remember when Kean is gone and you all return to enjoy better times who got us there.

Unless you're a caveman you will know the biggest impact has been the half empty stadium, they can live with a lot of noise and banter.

No-one really cares that attendences are low. Kean has already told Venkys he expects them to return once we get promoted.

The only thing - negative reaction or not - that the media mention is the Kean Out chants and fans not happy at the games. Listen to the media and stop deluding yourself.

Dear Mr Stu--- , Fickle is someone who doesn't keep to their beliefs, not someone who knows what is wrong and then acts on it.

I think you'll find if people change their mind and support the cheats, that will be fickle - could be wrong, but think I'm right.

If you were a Rover's fan you must have been going for at least one or two seasons now if you can see anything but liars and chancers running the club.

Maybe you're the new breed of fan, which bases you respect for the owners on a few lucky results, good luck to you and a few others.

Staying away is being fickle. You can't handle being out of the PL so you decide to hide behind the sofa and whine. It's also the equivalent of a child throwing a tantrum because he/she's not getting their way.
