DARRENERS can say goodbye to their own ‘Mr Comedy’ Don Banks at a special variety show at the Library Theatre in Knott Street, today. Mr Banks, a stalwart of the theatre, is moving to Darwin, Australia. Mr Banks’s successor Glen South will introduce and compere the evening. The event starts at 2pm and entry costs £3.50 or £2.50 for Darreners.
