THE jury in the Geoffrey Reed murder trial have been hearing closing speeches.

Prosecutor Timothy Mou-sley delivered his speech on Tuesday, followed by the defence closing speeches for defendants of the case Stuart Wareham, Lee Wareham and Benjamin Walter.

The jury were sent home for the Easter break and will return to Winchester Crown Court on Tuesday when judge Mr Justice Griffith Williams will sum up the case.

The three are accused of murdering Geoffrey Reed, pictured left, at his flat in Cecil Road, Boscombe, between June 6 and June 14 last year. They deny the charge.

His remains were discovered in a suitcase in a shallow grave on land off Huntick Road, Lytchett Matravers.
