The Treasure Hunt held recently in New Hutton was a great success with many entrants enjoying not only this event but also a lovely cream tea on returning to the village hall. The Trash ‘n’ Treasure book sale held at the village hall on the same day helped to raise a total of £580 for Miles Tarn Community Action.
If you missed this popular event there is no need to be disappointed as Miles Tarn Community Action have several copies of the original Treasure Hunt along with full instructions, map of the village and a self-marking answer sheet on sale at £5 each.
The treasure hunt will guide you with rhyming clues on a lovely 3 mile ramble around the village, the starting point is at the Old School behind the Church & the last clue is near the village hall.
