BOSS Tom Killick hopes Poole Town can make the most of Jordan Chiedozie’s raw potential after taking the Cherries striker on a month-long loan.
Dolphins will have the 19-year-old frontrunner available for tomorrow’s trip to St Neots Town (3pm) after completing the necessary paperwork this afternoon.
Chiedozie comes in as a direct replacement for Town striker Warren Byerley, who will bid to boost his own match fitness with a similar spell at Conference South strugglers Dorchester Town.
Killick told the Daily Echo: “Warren (Byerley) badly needed game time and Dorchester needed a striker so the opportunity for both players to get minutes made sense for everyone involved.
“It was so frustrating for Jordan when he was here before because his game time was curtailed but in the minutes he did play we could see he was a very sharp player.
“He is quick and direct with good feet and is a different type of player to Dan Cann and Michael Charles.
“That variation will be important to us during a busy schedule and I imagine he will get significant game time with the fixtures we have coming up.”
- POOLE will travel to Western League outfit Gillingham Town in the Dorset Senior Cup semi-finals with Hamworthy United facing a tough trip to Weymouth.
Both ties are scheduled for Tuesday, February 25.
