SINCE the Dancing on Ice series finished, skating fans have been having withdrawal symptoms from the glitz and glamour that made Saturday nights in front of the TV worth staying in for.

And the fun isn’t over yet, with the best DOI celebs from this year’s series, joined by tour hosts and skating legends, Torvill and Dean.

Celebrity skaters include those voted in from ITV1 viewers; Sam, Chemmy, Heidi, Chico, Jennifer, Andy, Jorgie and this year’s winner Matthew Wolfenden.

The team were staking at their best, competing for the trophy after being judged by Karen Barber, Christopher Biggins and Kyran Bracken.

It was clear to see that Matthew’s skating was by far the best in the non-professional category, his performance showed us why he was this year’s favourite.

Great moves and confidence made his dancing look natural on skates.

The set looked good, cameras, large screens and live music were only expected for such a popular tour.

As usual the girls looked stunning in their shimmering and skimpy frocks and even Chico managed to pull of his ‘sexy’ zebra print trousers, dancing to 'I'm Sexy and I Know It.'

Laughter was in the air as Corrie star Andy Whyment combined his sense of humour with his skates. After his performance he told us that he 'couldn't believe' he was performing at the Manchester Arena in his home town.

But, for me, the show really started in the second half when we the professional skaters performed together.

Doing what they do best, there were plenty of headbangers, one-handed lifts and skating with fire that made a jaw-dropping performance.

But an added treat was seeing skating legends Torvill and Dean perform together - separating the men from the boys when it comes to professional ice skating!

As the night drew to an end, a winner had to be chosen from the first half the evening.

Like the show, the two final contestants (voted for by the audience) had a skate-off and had to battle for the chance to dance the bolero.

Matthew and Jorgie were our favourites but without spoiling it for those who are going tonight... the judges picked the deserving winner.
