Is it really 17 years since the ‘future of racing’ was first unveiled to PlayStation gamers?

Now, the PS Vita, the future of handheld gaming, acts as the incubator for the latest iteration of the stylish anti-gravity experience, as WipeOut 2048 fires up its engines and unleashes a psychedelic racing tour de force.

This is WipeOut at its absolute finest, with the heady mix of crisp, colourful visuals, a pumping soundtrack and some of the toughest AI you'll have encountered in a racer of this kind.

The mix of event options and varied tracks provide even the most seasoned WipeOut campaigners with a single-player campaign challenge to cherish.
