Watford are looking to make seven permanent signings this summer and Laurence Bassini has said he does not want any more players to leave.
Bassini said: “We are looking to sign another five players on permanent contracts – a couple of midfielders, a couple of strikers and a left back – so that is seven players we want to sign in total.
“We will also look at loan players on top of that but we want to make seven signings.
“The market is really active around August and September time so while we will try to do as much business as possible before that, it will be around that time when it becomes really active.
“I have left that to Sean and Ross – the pair of them have been excellent.”
Watford have seen three first team regulars leave this summer and Bassini confirmed he doesn’t want to see any more depart.
“I don't want any more players to go so hopefully there won't be any more leaving,” Bassini said.
“If someone comes in with a big offer then fine but I don’t want to see any more players go.”
