ROSSENDALE have set their sights on the end of season play-offs after their bonus point win cut the gap on second place to four points.

With Chester and Bradford and Bingley, the two teams immeditately above Dale in National League Three North meeting at the weekend, the Marl Pits side could still finish as runners-up.

Jamie Albinson scored the first try of the match against a Billingham side fighting for survival.

James Bramhall converted before try machine Paddy Pole adding another touchdown to his growing list.

Dale were at the creative best and prop Leyton Taylor barged over for a third try before Anthony Bingham scored the try of the game.

Late scores for Billingham flattered the visitors.
