CHORLEY will have to come from behind to earn a place in the National League North play-off final after falling to a 1-0 home reverse against Kidderminster Harriers on Wednesday night.
Arthur Gnahoua's 76th minute strike was enough to separate the teams at Victory Park and give Harriers the advantage ahead of Sunday's second leg at Aggborough.
After an even first half Chorley were denied two penalty claims in the second period before the visitors struck a post as the game opened up.
And it was the away side who made the breakthrough when defender Gnahoua struck a superb 25-yard effort into the top corner.
Matt Jansen's side pressed for an equaliser in the closing stages but Dale Whitham volleyed their clearest chance over the bar.
The second leg is a 3pm kick off on Sunday.
In the night's other semi-final Salford City drew 1-1 at home to FC Halifax Town.
