BARNOLDSWICK Town concluded their five-game week in the Hallmark Security League Premier Division with a fourth win as they continue to build momentum ahead of their Macron Cup final with City of Liverpool later this month.

Danny Craig's side faced five games in eight days to conclude their season and finished on a high note as goals from Ben Gorman and Zack Dale either side of an Andrew Keogh strike secured them a 2-1 home win over Winsford United and ensured a 11th place finish in the table.

Padiham also ended their season with a win as a Mark Coyne brace helped them to a 2-0 success over Barnton. Steve Wilkes' side ended the campaign in seventh.

Nelson, already relegated, were beaten 2-1 at 1874 Northwich with Cameron Lancaster on target for the Admirals after Joe Woolley and Jack Lever gave the home side a 2-0 first half lead.

AFC Darwen were thrashed 8-0 at Runcorn Linnets on the final day with the home side five up at the break before adding three more in the final 11 minutes.

In the first division Bacup Borough were beaten 2-1 at home by City of Liverpool FC. Rio Wilson-Heyes was on target for Brent Peters' side in the final minute after the visitors had scored either side of the interval to take charge of the game. Borough finish 18th.
