BLACKBURN businessman John Stone will be hoping to replicate his early season form when he contests this weekend’s Tour of Epynt.
The Legend Fires boss was in scintillating form on the North West Stages last month, holding down second place before the turbo blew on his Skoda Fabia WRC.
Stone will be looking for a top three finish on Epynt, which is the opening round of the REIS MSA Asphalt Rally Championship.
He is seeded at car six, with Carl Williamson on the maps. Top seed is Mancunian Steve Simpson in his Subaru Impreza WRC.
This year’s Tour of Epynt is based at the Castle Hotel in Llandovery, and the route consists of 80 special stage miles over military roads with one central Service Area.
