RIBBLE Valley Raiders Under 11s may have missed out on glory in the Arthur Shaw Trophy but there is no doubting it has been another memorable season for the talented young team.
For the team, that was only formed last season, took the league by storm as they were crowned champions with a perfect record.
The talented Ribble Valley outfit won all 11 fixtures to clinch the league title in style.
The league success comes a year after winning the Arthur Shaw Trophy in their first season. And while they missed out on clinching the league and cup double second time around, coach Farouk Hussain was immensely proud of his team’s efforts.
“We are thrilled to bits for the boys as they have worked hard all winter and during the season,” said Farouk.
“The lads remained undefeated all season in the league winning all 11 fixtures which is a great effort. This is on the back of last year’s cup success in our inaugural season in the league.”
He added: “The team changed significantly from last season but the new faces have stepped up and done the business.”
