KHEIRO Chir scored an unbeaten 37 as Lowerhouse Under 15s Dolphins beat Church.

Batting first, Lowerhouse scored 96-3 with Chir the lead run maker of the innings.

Georgie Holt scored 14 while Emily Gibbins added 13. Tom Halstead was unbeaten on 11.

In reply, Church scored 78-6, Eddie Turner (2-12) and Aman Singh (2-13) were the pick of the bowlers.

The Under 13s Lions were in fine form rattling up 258-6 with the runs shared out.

Jack Spence top scored with an unbeaten 21 with Aden Aurangzeb (16), Aman Singh (13no), James Bridge (12) and Libby Heap (12) all contributing.

The wickets were also shared out as Burnley finished on 121, Libby Heap in fine form taking 5-9 with Mohammed Hussain (2-2), Jack Spence (2-4) and

Aman Singh (2-6) was also in form.

Annabelle Uttley scored an unbeaten 12 with Alfie Dawson taking 3-6 as the Under 13s Tigers beat Longridge.

Batting first, the Tigers scored 214-5 with Longridge restricted to 196-5 in reply.

And the Cougars made it a clean sweep for Lowerhouse’s Under 13s team with victory over Haslingden.

Keagan de Vries (27) and Dec Metcalfe (23) helped House to a 272-7 total and they were well-supported by Michael Barker and George Durkin who both scored 18 not out while Oliver Williams added 11.

Haslingden finished on 179-6.

It was a double delight for the under 11s teams with both the Cubs and Koalas winning.

The Cubs won at Euxton, Nathan Porter (12no) and Kier Greenwood (10no) the top batsmen while Harrison Durkin took 3-1.

Lewis Clarke (2-1) and Harvey Elliott (2-3) was the pick of the Koalas’ bowlers as they beat Church.

But Lowerhouse Under 9s lost their derby battle at Burnley.

Batting first, Burnley scored 232-8 with Harvey Elliott (2-9) and Jessie Martin (2-9) among the wickets then scored 207-6 in reply.
