DECLAN Highway's goal scoring instincts have always impressed team-mates and coaching staff at Mill Hill Diversity FC - now he is hoping is skills will catch they eye of England selectors.
Mill Hill Football club have the reputation for producing players who have gone on to play their football at the various levels of the football league or the higher levels of the football pyramid, well in the near future they could also add an England International to their ranks.
Declan Heighway has been selected to attend England trials for the under 19s for the England Ability counts league, Declan who is 16 has been at Mill Hill since he was 13 and has developed into a very promising prospect with excellent soccer skills and is a very adaptable with his right or left foot, Declan is also a squad member Futsal Scholarship with Blackburn Rovers Community trust.
Declan comes from a very football orientated family his dad Steve is well known in local football circles while his mum Lesley was a well-known player and pioneer for the ladies’ game in its infancy.
