I have been given you as a Contact by Patsy Haworth (Chair of Feniscowles & Pleasington Bowling Club) for the Telegraph Grassroots Section - hope I've found the right guy !!
Last week (Tuesday 9th June) All Sections of the Memorial Ground (Tennis, Football, Bowling) played host to St Annes School, Blackburn in a multi-sports day.
44 Children arrived and were split into 4 Groups of 11. They moved around each Section spending 40 minutes per Group on each activity, including Orienteering and the above sports too.
So, we had four Group Sessions of 11 children at 40 minutes each session.
All 44 Children, and their Teachers got involved with us bowling through Hoops and landing on Various Targets.
We are repeating this again on the 30th June when another School will take part.
I have attached a few pics, but not sure which, if any, are appropriate for your Grassroots Section - please advise
