HOLE I’th Wall are celebrating their 2015 title success after a frantic race to the finish in the Premier Division in the Blackburn Combination.

Hole finished fifth last season, a massive 24 points behind champions Rishton United, but this time they made the championship their own, losing just three games.

Blackburn United, runner’s up in 2013-14, were unable to go one better this term, however they completed the campaign only half a dozen points behind the champs.

The Ivy, a point behind, claimed third spot, and both sides should be given great praise for creating an interesting title challenge.

However, Islington and Blackburn Olympic were both relegated from the top flight after a tough season in the division.

Cabin End proved to be worthy champions in the Second Division, while Euro Garages claimed the remaining promotion berth.
