RIMINGTON are red-hot favourites to claim another First Division crown.
Terry Braithwaite’s men turned on the style after their recent championship wobble, crushing Stacksteads St Joseph’s 5-3.
But The Ivy, hot on the trail of the Ribble Valley outfit, are refusing to give up the chase and they kept the pot boiling with a midweek victory over Langho.
Burnley Belvedere were the weekend’s big winners, thrashing Mill Hill 6-0.
Burnley Athletic also hit six, overwhelming Barrowford Celtic 6-2.
Burnley Athletic can bolster third place further when they host Oswaldtswistle St Mary’s tomorrow.
Oswaldtwistle will be anxious to return to winning ways, though, following last weekend’s 3-1 home defeat to Feniscowles and Pleasington.
Enfield are finishing the campaign in good shape and a 1-0 victory over Rock Rovers eased them out of the bottom four.
The game between Read United and Langho finished 1-1.
Meanwhile, the only fixture in the Second Division saw Waddington grab a rare away win, 1-0 at Barlick Town.
The Reserve Division clash between Mill Hill and Stacksteads was postponed.
