CHORLEY Ladies were knocked off the top of FA Women’s Premier League Northern Division One after being held 1-1 by bottom of the table Sheffield United Community.

Following the 3-1 midweek defeat at Stockport County, Chorley were looking to get back to winning.

They dominated proceedings and took an early lead through Sam Cadwallader but could not find the second goal their domination deserved.

As is often the case, United levelled with their first attack of the half and despite Chorley upping the tempo after the break they could not find the winner.

Liverpool Marshalls Feds are now top after beating 4-Stockport 4-0.
