Young karting ace Noah Chamberlain has been back in action on the track and has continued to pick up the silverware.

The eight-year-old who previously excelled in the Pirelli Formula 1 simulator, has recently taken part in his first Motor Sports Asociation (MSA) regulated race and collected the trophy for the First Novice as well as securing a solid top 10 position.

Noah finsihed the day eighth overall in the MSA race amongst a grid that attracts a higher calibre of driver.

As a novice the regualtions required Noah to start from the back of the grid in all three of the heat races regardless of his finishing positions however the grid positions for final race of the day were to be allocated on merit.

Noah used his previous championship experinece to good effect to battle from the back in the heat races to earn himself an 11th place start for the final race.

Noahs hard work was almost in vain as a over cautious first lap in the final saw him drop to a lowly 16th place. However, a trademark determined drive from Noah saw him come back through the pack to claim the First Novice trophy and an unexpected but wholey welcomed eight place overall.

Noah has another five races in which he is required to compete as a Novice and is now looking forward to the next race to maintain his early momentum.
