AFC Wimbledon have announced there is no planned pitch inspection ahead of tomorrow’s game with Rovers.

The club say they have been provided with extra covers by Chelsea FC and are doing all they can to ensure the game goes ahead.

Rovers visit the Cherry Red Records Stadium tomorrow (7.45pm) as they look to maintain their lead at the top of League One.

A statement on the Dons’ website read: “No pitch inspection is currently planned for tomorrow night's League One match against Blackburn Rovers.

“Before the pitch covers were put down over the weekend, the surface was perfectly playable.

“The pitch had been cut and marked out before the pitch was covered with Chelsea FC providing extra covers

“If anything changes due to the weather, we will keep supporters updated via the official website, along with the club's official Twitter and Facebook accounts.

“We remind supporters that this is an all-ticket match and you will not be able to pay on the night. Please refer to our previous announcement for more information.”
