ADAM Armstrong hit 20 goals during his previous League One loan spell with Coventry City in 2015/16.
Tony Mowbray, the Sky Blues manager that season, will be hoping that Newcastle United youngster Armstrong can rediscover that form during his time at Ewood Park.
He scored twice on his Coventry debut against Wigan Athletic, one of six braces that season as well as the hat-trick he netted in a 5-0 win at Crewe Alexandra in January 2016.
His 20 league goals came in 40 appearances as Coventry narrowly missed out on a play-off spot that season.
