ROVERS have announced the postponement of next weekend's trip to Blackpool because of international call-ups. 

They have exercised the option to re-arrange the fixture at Bloomfield Road, which was scheduled for Saturday, October 7, after Jayson Leutwiler (Canada), Corry Evans (Northern Ireland) and Charlie Mulgrew (Scotland) were all called up by their respective countries. 

The game has been re-arranged for Tuesday, November 28 (7.45pm), though that could be switched to Saturday, December 2 should both sides be knocked out of the FA Cup in the first round which take place over the weekend of Saturday, November ‎4. 

Tickets already purchased for the match are valid for the new date. Supporters now unable to attend should contact the ticket office on 01254 372000 to arrange a refund.

All three players will meet up with their international team-mates after Saturday's home game with Gillingham. 

Captain Mulgrew is in the Scotland squad for their crucial World Cup qualifiers against Slovakia and Slovenia, while midfielder Evans is in the Northern Ireland for their double header with world champions Germany and Norway. 

Leutwiler meanwhile will look to win his fourth cap for his country when face El Salvador. 

The trio, who will miss the Checkatrade Trophy clash with Bury on October 3, will return in time to be available for the trip to Oldham Athletic on Saturday, November 14.
