BLACKBURN Rovers have announced their away trip to Fulham will now take place on Tuesday, March 14.
The two sides were set to meet on Saturday, January 28, but the game has been re-arranged after both sides made it in to round four of the FA Cup.
The game at Craven Cottage, which will be a 7.45pm kick-off, will mean Rovers play five times in 14 days at the start of March, before the international break on the final weekend of the month.
However, the original postponement means that after tomorrow’s trip to Ipswich, Rovers will play four of their next five fixtures, a potential FA Cup replay aside, at Ewood Park.
Rovers will learn their FA Cup fourth round opponents on Tuesday (7.45pm) when Barnsley host Blackpool in the third round replay.
The FA Cup fifth round is played on the weekend of February 18, so a win for Rovers, or scheduled opponents Derby County, who play Leicester City, in round four, would see the need for the Ewood Park clash to be re-arranged.
