PAUL Lambert hailed a true team performance as Blackburn Rovers ended their nine-match winless league run with a superb 3-0 victory at home to Fulham.

Spot-on top-scorer Ben Marshall set Rovers on their way to a win which moved them eight points clear of the relegation places when he converted his fourth penalty of the campaign.

Shane Duffy doubled the advantage when he got the headed goal he has been threatening all season.

And Danny Graham put the icing on the cake when he marked his home debut with his first goal for the club.

Lancashire Telegraph:

Rovers boss Lambert said: “The performance was fantastic and no more than we deserved – and it could have been more.

“But from start to finish we were excellent. I think there were some big performances but it’s very unfair to single out any player after a performance like that.

“They’ve got it in them but it’s about doing it consistently. If you do that then you’ve got a chance.

“We’ve got to get to that level but tonight we were excellent.”
