Damien Duff in his Rovers days
FORMER Blackburn Rovers winger Damien Duff has returned to his native Ireland to sign an 18-month contract with Shamrock Rovers.
Duff, 36, has joined Shamrock after leaving Melbourne City in Australia.
He said: “I have always said that I wanted to come back and play in Ireland.
"I am excited about this move as I have been about any in my career."
