BLACKBURN Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes is expected to be back in 7-10 days after scans on his ankle showed no serious damage.
Rhodes was stretchered off 30 minutes into Saturday’s pre-season opener at Accrington Stanley and left the Store First Stadium on crutches and with his foot in a protective boot.

But scans taken this morning have shown the injury is not as bad as first feared and the Scotland international should be back in full training by the end of next week after Rovers return from their warm-weather camp in Portugal.
Rhodes will not fly out to the Algarve to join up with his team-mates and will instead remain at Brockhall for treatment.
