ACADEMY graduate John O’Sullivan will make his full Blackburn Rovers debut in tonight’s Championship clash with Birmingham City at a sun-kissed St Andrew’s.

The 21-year-old winger, whose first of two substitute appearances for the club also came at Birmingham’s home ground, is one of three changes to the Rovers side that started Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Reading.

Fellow winger Craig Conway and midfielder Corry Evans also earn recalls with Adam Henley, Tom Cairney and Lee Williamson dropping to a substitute’s bench which includes fit-again striker Rudy Gestede.

Gestede scored the first and so far only hat-trick of his career in last season’s corresponding fixture which Rovers, who are unbeaten in their last seven away matches in all competitions, won 4-2.

Birmingham, meanwhile, are unchanged from the team that started their 2-1 derby win at home to play-off chasing neighbours Wolves on Saturday.

It was Gary Rowett’s team’s fourth victory in their last six unbeaten home games.
