AN inspired performance from keeper Sean Davis couldn’t prevent Padiham from slipping to defeat at Cammel Lairdand making November a month to forget.
The Storks have lost all five league and cup games throughout the month – although Davis did his best to keep the hosts at bay, especially in the first half when he produced a string of fine saves.
Davis made at least five world class saves and Cammel Laird boss Tony Sullivan said: "The kid was unbelievable. It was the best display from a keeper I have ever seen at this level of football."
But two goals in three minutes midway through the second half by Jamie Henders and Craig Cairns condemned Padiham to defeat.
Ben Allen had a chance to pull one back but shot wide with 15 minutes top go.
