BARNOLDSWICK Town are still hoping for a top three place in the North West Counties needed a welcoming win over Winsford after the two midweek reverses.
Marko Marosi made his debut in goal for the first team, after performing well in the reserves but the match was spoiled by a strong cold cross wind and bumpy pitch.
But master striker Paul Fildes made light of the conditions 20 minutes from time with the only goal of the match to seal three points for Barlick.
