RYAN Moore scored a hat-trick as Ramsbottom moved level on points with Bootle at the top of NWCL Premier Division.
Despite having to field a patch-up team, the Rams returned to winning ways in a six-goal thriller.
Paul Prescott gave Runcorn a fourth minute lead before Moore notched his first 12 minutes later from a tight angle.
The came sprung to life with three goals in five miutes early in the second half. Moore curled the Rams ahead in the 53rd minute but Matthew Atherton levelled.
But Moore completed his hat-trick when he fired home a low cross from Dominic Smalley before Grant Spencer added a fourth in the 73rd minute – after Runcorn had a man sent off.
