FORMER Burnley manager Eddie Howe has been nominated for the Championship's manager of the month award for May having all-but guided the Bournemouth to the Premier League.
The Cherries need one point from their final game to guarantee promotion.

Howe faces competition from Watford boss Slavisa Jokanovic, who's side currently top the league table, Birmingham boss Gary Rowett and Norwich chief Alex Neill.
Another former Clarets boss, Steve Cotterill, is up for the League One manager of the month award having led Bristol City to the title.
Cotterill will come up against former Burnley midfielder and Accrington Stanley manager Paul Cook, now with play-off bound Chesterfield, Preston's Simon Grayson and MK Dons chief Karl Robinson.
Micky Mellon makes it a hat-trick of former Burnley bosses in the running for awards with the Scot up for the League Two award.
Mellon is currently in charge of Shrewsbury Town who still have a chance of winning the title heading into the final day and have already secured promotion to League One.
Stevenage's Graham Westley, Burton's Jimmy Floyd Hasslebaink and Southend's Phil Brown are the other nominees.
The winners will be announced on Friday.
