Etuhu to sign for Rovers this afternoon

Dickson Etuhu will sign for Blackburn Rovers this afternoon - after passing his medicals at Brockhall.

The 30-year-old midfielder is putting pen to paper on a move to Rovers from Fulham, for in the region of £1.5million, and will make his debut this weekend in Holland.

Etuhu won't feature against Go Ahead Eagles in Deventer this evening, but is expected to play some part in Sunday's game at NEC Nijmegen.

Meanwhile, Rovers are yet to hear back from Huddersfield about their bid for striker Jordan Rhodes.

Kean wants more experience at Rovers! What joke, he's the least experienced in the football world!!! It's a new manager we need! Then the experience will show.

Credit where it's due - I think this could be a good signing.

It doesn't change my demand to sack the Klown.

Good signing, yes some good news. In terms of playing personnel you just wonder why the Venkys didnt do this last summer.
-
The elephant in the room is always though a certain situation. The manager is atleast 60% or 70% of the teams success, and in this I ask and beg.
-
SACK KEAN NOW! DONT WAIT 12 GAMES INTO THE NEW SEASON AND WE ARE ALREADY A DRIFT OF THE PLAY OFF PLACES.

It won't matter who is playing for Rovers, with Kean in charge it will be like last season, fighting relegation.

I'm hardly the biggest fan of Venky's and Kean but I don't think anybody could envisage him being injured and out for six month when we signed Best

Get Rhodes in the bag and we can at least start looking forward to the new season with some enthusiasm.. and while we're on the subject the aforementioned defender wouldn't hurt either!

Totally agree, if Singh and co want to establish credibility, get rid of Kean and get someone like Mick McCarthy in.

Sorry Wilyrover, not having a go as it is about opinions, but why replace a failed manager with another?

At least McCarthy has a track record of taking teams up from the Championship and he's infinitely more likeable than Kean.
