Henley called up for Wales

BLACKBURN Rovers starlet Adam Henley has been called up to the Wales squad for the weekend's friendly against Mexico.

The 17-year-old, who was on standby, will now travel with the 22 man squad.

The match will be played at MeLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA, on May 27, kick off 8pm.

Henley made eight appearances for Rovers last season, has one Wales Under 21 cap to his name and will hope to make his debut for Chris Coleman's senior side in the country of his birth.

Don't say that - or he will be sold as well.

By the time they have made everyone redundant and sorted out the managerial position we wont have any tim e for a repacement to Kean to strengthen the squad or should I say get rid of the dead wood before the new season commences.

Stick him in at centre forward - it's what Kean would do.

Good little player when he did play for us last season,in fact I`d go as far as say he made fewer mistakes than Hanley and Dann .
Lets hope we get to keep him.

Looks promising. I remember when Rovers could have held onto a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford he had a good run down the wing and forced the corner from which we won the game.
Good luck youngster.
Probably won't be with us long !

Cryer, dont you know anything about Football. Its `Metlife` not `Melife` Stadium. Still, I guess watching Rovers will eventually numb anybodys brain.

Another good promising player from a club that still has some depth - just.

Unlike B*rnley, which is a soulless club.
