ACCRINGTON Stanley have announced that they hope to conclude contract negotiations with management duo John Coleman and Jimmy Bell by the end of the week amid potential interest from Lincoln City.
Coleman and Bell agreed terms over new three-and-a-half-year deals some time ago but have been waiting for months for the documents to be put in front of them.
That led to the duo refusing to rule themselves out of contention for the current vacancy at Lincoln, who are understood to have made them top of their wanted list.
But Stanley have now released a statement saying: "Negotiations with manager John Coleman and his assistant Jimmy Bell over a new deal to keep them at the Crown Ground are well under way.
"The duo have been at the helm for the past 12 years and the club feel they deserve to be rewarded for their service.
"An announcement regarding the pair will be made before the end of the week."
