Chorley's match at Wakefield, which was postponed because of the Yorkshire club’s involvement in a cup tie, will now be played on Tuesday March 16.

Recent rearrangements caused by the weather and opponents’ cup commitments have given Chorley a tougher run-in at the end of the season.

Until this week the Magpies were scheduled to round off the campaign with two home games out of five, against Bamber Bridge on Easter Monday and Warrington Town on April 17.

Salford City’s fixture congestion has now affected Chorley and Clitheroe’s date with Southport in the Lancashire FA Trophy at The Reebok on March 17 means that the Shawbridge side won¹t be coming to Victory Park for a UniBond First Division North match the night before.

Clitheroe, who should have been visitors to Chorley on March 16, will instead be taking on Southport in the Lancashire final the following evening.

The Magpies’ visit to Salford, which was brought forward to last Tuesday only to fall victim of the winter hangover, will now be played on Thursday, April 15, two days prior to the home match against Warrington Town.
