DANNY Graham’s strike against Manchester United in the fifth round has been shortlisted for the FA Cup goal of the competition award.
Graham’s goal, which put Rovers 1-0 up against United at Ewood Park, won the seal of approval of Reds boss Jose Mourinho who applauded the approach play and fine left-foot finish.
Fans will have the chance to vote for Graham’s goal as the best of the competition during the BBC’s half-time coverage of Saturday’s final between Arsenal and Chelsea at Wembley.
Graham had two entries in Rovers' goal of the season competition, but Elliott Bennett’s long ranger against Blackpool in the fourth round, won that particular prize.
However, that doesn’t make the FA Cup shortlist, with Steven Defour’s solo goal for Burnley against Bristol City being the round four nomination.
Accrington Stanley’s Sean McConville is also in the running for his effort in the third round win over Luton Town.
Qualifying - Adam Coombes - Welling United v Swindon Supermarine

R2 - Adam Morgan - Curzon Ashton v AFC Wimbledon
R3 - Sean McConville - Accrington v Luton
R4 - Steven Defour - Burnley v Bristol City
R5 - Danny Graham - Blackburn v Man Utd
QF - Son Heung-min - Tottenham v Millwall (first goal)
