MICHAEL Keane is set to return for Burnley at Bournemouth this weekend, but Ben Mee remains a doubt.

The defensive duo have both seen their records as Premier League ever presents end in recent weeks.

But after missing the draw with West Brom a week ago Keane is set to be back on the south coast, replacing Kevin Long in the side.

However Mee is continuing to battle a shin injury that is likely to rule him out against the Cherries on Saturday.

"Keano has had a day on the grass with us, he’s had a couple this week but one with the main team today so we’ll see how he reacts to that," Clarets chief Sean Dyche said.

"Ben Mee is unlikely, he might be around but it’s unlikely. He’s still settling down with the type of injury he’s got.

"Dean Marney is longer term, but he’s going along generally well. Other than that a few bumps and bruises but we’re in good shape."
