Aye and you’ll have slipped into League one so we a would miss you. But of course Burnley won’t slip down. I rather fancy a Europa league spot. Nice to see European football back at the Turf

Comfortable mid-table finish for the Clarets next season and a good cup run, while our dear old penniless neighbours are de-panted in the most humiliating way possible by Financial Fair Play.

It's a good point Mark, but you never know you might have the pleasure of visiting Turf Moor in the cup next season, wouldn't that be a treat for you, in between struggling against the likes of Brentford and Rotherham.

Ah Rovers in Europe.... My sides hurt just at the thought of it...

Beaten off the park by a team of Swedish window cleaners...

Colin Hendry sent off in a hilarious 3-0 spanking off Spartak Moscow....

Le Saux and Batty throwing punches at each other in a scene that brought shame on English football.

"Blackburn's woeful European Champions' League campaign plumbed new depths when even the dismissal of Colin Hendry during this comprehensive 3-0 defeat by Spartak was overshadowed by an extraordinary fight between two of Blackburn's players, Graeme Le Saux and David Batty.

The two squared up to each other after just four minutes with the game still goalless. They clattered into one another as the ball ran into touch, traded insults, moved on to pushing and shoving and then Le Saux appeared to throw a left hook into Batty's throat. Tim Sherwood, the Blackburn captain, raced in to separate them as Le Saux appeared to be winding up for another blow."

Blackburn Rovers, a true disgrace to English football.

I'm glad we aren't playing Rovers, the last thing we need is a defeat to our rivals pre season. We were lucky to meet them this season when they were in turmoil. Now they are settled they would definitely turn us over. The fact we have beaten them once in 34 years made our season but, its back to normality from now on so we will have to try and avoid them for as long as possible.
Works for me.

You write "we were lucky to meet them". We weren't lucky. It was a dated match in a thing called "The Fixture List". And I think I may speak for all of us when I write that I'm glad you've come out as a Rovers fan. You'll feel all the better for it.

As a PNE fan (please don't laugh) I just registered on your forum to wish you all the best for next season. I can only look on with envy.
So I was astounded to read comments by your so called fan AP4B, is he or she for real, must surely be a chicken farmer.
We have the same problem on our site, Lashers masquerading as Nobbers to try and wind us up, as if they haven't got enough of their own problems,
Anyway, as I said, good luck in the Premiership next season, hope to join you one day...........But I'm not holding my breath.
Welcome to the board.

Also what do you think of the announcement of a 'friendly' between Burnley and PNE at Deepdale?

Not sure any game between us two could be classed as a friendly though :-)

Turf MoorTom is nothing more than a festering, crotch-sniffing, gurning Pot Noodle eating degenerate sack of wind and p!ss from the ar5e end of Shadsworth, consistently wrong in his predictions which amount to little more than a desperate wishlist having watched Burnley FC utterly dominate his club in every single area including a memorable derby victory at Ewood Park, promotion to the Premier League, and the worst pain of all, preventing his club from scraping undeservedly into the play-off's..

As a result Tom is currently struggling to function even on a basic level and chooses this forum to vent his frustration taking on the persona of a disgruntled Burnley fan, while the regular posters play along so as not to hurt the simpletons feelings.

Following the Clarets incredible automatic promotion and bright future enjoying the riches of the Premier League while his own tin-pot, slap-stick, debt-ridden, laughingstock of a football club continue to stumble from one disaster to the next with the forthcoming molesting by Financial Fair Play likely to be the final insult, Tom is now clearly on the slippery slope to a full and thorough mental breakdown.

We should take it easy on Tom given his precarious state of mind and general unravelling on this public forum, he simply knows no other way.

There is a lot of animosity towards honesty on here, you can't possibly believe we will stay up, that'd be like the second coming. I reach deep down and ask myself and get the same answer. We are going down, nailed on. We need to spend at least 120 million otherwise we are doomed.
We also need to get some recaros in the dugout like sean dyche said, then we will be invincible.

We have some big friendlies coming up, yourselves, Liverpool & Leicester, hopefully with one or two additions to our squad we should be able to give you a game.
I think as there are now 2 divs. between us it should be a relatively friendly atmosphere, I always enjoyed the banter when we were both in the championship, happy days.............Of course I'd still like to stick one over on you ;-)

Yes I think a top four finish will be just beyond us in our first season back in THE PREMIER LEAGUE of ENGLISH FOOTBALL – the beat league in Europe. We will have to build a little more to achieve that.
