Dyche hails Burnley comeback
Updated 6:11pm Saturday 5th April 2014 in Football
SEAN Dyche praised his Burnley side after they scored a late equaliser to draw at Watford and move 10 points clear in second place in the Championship.
Scott Arfield levelled with four minutes left to cancel out Troy Deeney's ninth-minute goal for the hosts, and defeats for QPR and Derby strengthened the Clarets' grip on the second automatic promotion spot with only six games left to play.
Dyche said: "After Watford scored they were pretty defence minded and sat off us, and we had to find a way of breaking them down, which was difficult.
"But I thought we stuck with our gameplan really well. I always feel this group has got a chance to get something from a game and we've done it again.
"We came back from a goal down and nicked a very valuable point."
David Jones was taken to hospital after the game but Dyche stressed it was only a precaution after the midfielder was substituted with 15 minutes left.
"It's just checking things out, he was feeling a little bit unwell, that was all," said the Burnley boss.
