OUT-OF-FAVOUR Blackburn Rovers forward Leon Best has joined Championship rivals Sheffield Wednesday on a one-month emergency loan.

The 27-year-old, who spent two loan spells with the Owls earlier in his career, will remain at Hillsborough until March 12 and has been given permission to play in their FA Cup fifth-round tie at home to Charlton Athletic tomorrow.

Best has not played for Rovers in nearly four months with his last appearance for the club coming in the 1-0 home loss to Charlton on October 19.

The Republic of Ireland international has scored two goals in 16 games for Rovers since his move from Newcastle United in July 2012.

Best, who was also attracting from interest from Charlton, missed most of last season through injury.

Another sewer rat leaving the sinking SS Laughingstock while still trousering £35,000 a week! Nice work if you can get it.

What a shambles.

Well done Cleatus. Get it in while you can because in 23 days time your comical 34 year semi will be completely floppy and no amount of pulling and squeezing will bring it back.

Burnley are just too good for you this time around. I have said that the last 3 occasions we have played however I have never truly believed it until now. You are as weak as any side in this division and having recently lost your centre half and captain along with your best player in Rochina I don't see you putting up much of a challenge. You can wheel out Dunn if he's not "injured" again but I see us being too strong for you in every area of the pitch, particularly the midfield, however your full backs are your weakest point and I fully expect us to exploit that weakness.

Blackburn have it all to lose and you couldn't be playing us at a worse time. I'll go for 3-1 to Burnley, and silence from the no-dads once and for all.

A month!!! that's barely worth the effort of filling in the forms. There must have been very little interest, if we are forced to accept just a months loan. I have to be careful what else I say as the last Leon Best comment's section was closed down. I wonder if that was due to abusive comments or Best's lawyer's.

If he come here with a better attitude he could have been an asset. No winners in this situation. Just hope he scores loads of goals at Wednesday, not for his benefit, for us, as it might help us get shut.

How would you know what THE TURF looks like in the flesh, you can't even sell the modest ticket allocation you're given for Derby day, muppet.

Burnley - clear second in the table and 16 points ahead of you clowns.

After all a balding, middle-aged, overweight, lorry driver from Shadsworth lacking in basic social skills and with personal hygiene issues would be quite a catch for some of these depraved reprobates. Surely, if by some miracle that they got promoted, they shouldn't be allowed in the Prem with a ground like that for a second time?
A point I have been making for sometime, our resident Troll has consistent refused to answer that question despite many challenges to do that.
Like he also ignores the question regarding why is Flood back on the Burnley board? Teaming up with Kilby again to filch all the money like last time perhaps ??

That's because you possess the intellectual capacity of amoebic dysentery.

Being from Shadsworth where the villagers speak in only two syllables its no wonder you struggle with basic comprehension. Perhaps choosing to leave school at 12 and peddle dodgy DVD's wasn't the best career move?

If words such as degenerate or reprobate confuse you then ask your mum, I'm sure she'll be quite familiar with those terms.

Anyway, can anyone enlighten us as to the terms of Best's loan move? Are Rovers still paying his £35,000 a week salary in full or have Sheffield Wednesday agreed to contribute an certain amount? And does his latest twitter outburst prevent his return to Rovers next month? Interesting.

How is your financial outlook? How is ours? Therein lies the answer to your question Mungo.

Burnley FC are a well-run, well-respected, proper football club with a board of LOCAL directors who are all FANS OF THE CLUB and have the best interests of the club at heart. Can you say the same? Our Premier League season secured the financial future of the club and gave us a platform to mount our current, highly successful, challenge for promotion.

As for your board of directors, are you completely happy they have the best interests of your club at heart?

If you clowns are in any doubt as to how "well-run" your club is, or indeed even slightly curious to know how you could possibly be racking up so much debt, check this out.... courtesy of your very own barrel-chested medallion wearing party animal director Balaji Rao...

No goals in 8 for Rhodes at this point in the season and you're clearing out your remaining striking options? Doesn't add up to me.

Morning Mark, you sound like an expert in managing to arouse male genatalia in your description above - some kind of expert in fact. For everyone else's info, my 6 fingered friend "drives a truck" which actually translates as hanging around truck stops offering to pleasure his fellow truckers, hence he has so much time to hang around Internet forums commenting on his obsession with Rovers. Keep up the good work Mark - it's the only pleasure in life that some of your clients will have.
Now now David, we've been here before haven't we? You can't tar me with your brush I'm afraid, I am not currently nor have I ever been interested in your warped pastimes and as much as you'd like me to join you for a "ride-along" I'll have to politely decline. I'm just not into that stuff. If you are becoming bored of illicit lay-by encounters and tiring of always having to be "the lady" then there are perhaps one or two willing no-dad's on these pages who might benefit from a bit of human company, even from a degenerate bottom-feeder such as yourself. After all a balding, middle-aged, overweight, lorry driver from Shadsworth lacking in basic social skills and with personal hygiene issues would be quite a catch for some of these depraved reprobates. Good luck to you.
Funny, when you used the name We Love You Venkys, you actually admitted that you were in to that sort of thing. Then changed your name.

Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore has confirmed that there are plans for a 'B' league to come into existence.

The league would involve the same teams that are in the Under-21 league - which is those
who are classed as CATEGORY ONE in the ELITE Player Performance Plan (EPPP).
That would mean that current Premier League sides plus
Football league clubs, Bolton, BLACKBURN, Leicester, Middlesbrough, Reading and Wolves.
Take note Dingles of the words, CATERGORY ONE & ELITE
No mention of that massive club in Dingle land with its massive support and super stadium being invited.

I'm not getting excited as it's only an emergency loan for just a month, but that's better than nothing I suppose.

Do Wednesday play the Dingles in that time? If they do that gives him the chance to turn from zero to hero in my eyes.

One thing about Best, he always plays well for a club when he first joins them, it wasn't his fault he got injured pre season when he did, it's just his attitude this season that has turned me off him.

He talks of Best trousering the money - Kilby and Flood have been trousering money of the thick Dingles for decades. Our friends in Pune have quickly worked this out - the thicko Dingles brainpower doesn't stretch beyond the next Giro day. Where did Burnleys parachute payments go Mark?
Are you asking me, Mally, or are you asking the guy you think is me ?
You're 1 of the same Mungo. Multiple log-ins, but all written in the same style.
I think you're getting a little paranoid.
I'd give these forums a wide berth for a while if i were you.

Rather than ask him to explain why don't you just look at the Accounts? Its all there and quite easy to understand. It is quite purile to try to compare the financial situation of both clubs, whilst Burnley may have had an operating loss ( a deficit offset by transfer income) of £8m Rovers are how much in debt? and losing how much per month? Compareing how both clubs are run is a topic you would do well to stay clear of!

48 million was it not, promotion etc staged payments. Then following (inevitable) planned for relegation , income from player sales.
Through to last season and the selling of Van Austin for an undisclosed fee
( it would be) but you still lost another 8 million?
And you ask me to see the accounts?
Pretty sure they are less than accurate pal.
I am not making the comparison, just responding to the holier than thou bullshine being posted on here by so called Clarets like Baldric
Yep, however badly run we have been you lot still have an awful lot of glass in your house.
Flood IVA, back at the club ..scenting money
Even the dimmest 40 watt Dingle can surely see all is not right
So Midas, how much of any possible promotion money do you think the club will spend on players and the ground, and how long will you stay in the Prem if promoted?
Answers on a post card please

Just to correct you Mungo, and please don't take my word for it, like the other poster above states, check the accounts if it interests you that much.

Obsessive or what?

Anyhow, the £8million deficit reported does not include the £3million+ received from the sale of Charlie Austin, nor does it include the one-time repurchase of Turf Moor and the Training ground. The directors have also stated that they expect the club to break even this year. We have also bolstered the board with some good additions as proven during the transfer windows ever effort is being put into challenging for promotion and keeping this excellent squad of players together. Sam Vokes new contract is another example. Has Rhodes decided to renew? Thought not.

Not bad for little old Burnley really is it.

Meanwhile down the road, Blackburn Rovers are £56million in debt and losing £3million A MONTH!

As stated above, comparing the financial position of the two clubs is an argument you can never win. Try again, maybe have another go at the old attendance nonsense, we haven't heard that one for at least a day.

You're right £56 million is a big number, well done but our owners are billionaires. Unfortunately an £8 million debt or even a £1 million debt to a club worth £50,000 is far more serious.

Anyway did you enjoy the Bolton match...............

It's all there in black and white for you Mungo, fill your boots if you're that interested. One thing I guarantee however is that you wont see figures like net debt £56million or monthly loss £3million, you'll have to look in your own account for that kind of mismanagement. The Premier League season wiped out our debts and provided a £14.5million profit, 2 years later with the sale of Jay Rod we posted a £3.1million profit. We have since profited from Charlie Austin and importantly completed the repurchase of Turf Moor and the training ground. These are the figures of a sensible well-run football club, one that is currently in an automatic promotion spot.

Happy now?

I just use common sense. Cant see where it's gone so come on Statto, publish us some numbers on here. Oh I forget, you only know stuff about Rovers though, dont you Hmmmm[/p]
Here you go.... http://www.burnleyfo otballclub.com/docum ents/burnley-fac-30. 6.12113-498301.pdf It's all there in black and white for you Mungo, fill your boots if you're that interested. Happy now?[/p]
But has the sensible well run club won anything in the last 45 years? - Boring Boring Boring! At least when we were a sensible well run club we achieved the ultimate English title and more. Won it and done it my sad friend! Roverthere
