sorry stephen but your column is just bravado to cover up another failure to beat your rivals. Whether our team are a shadow of their former self or not, your aim was to finally win and you didn't. Had to settle for a consolation prize. By the way in all football competitions, the goalkeeper is a bonafide member of the team and that's why the top clubs in the premier league have top goalkeepers. They aren't an excuse for the other team not winning. Pity the much boasted about Austin didn't step up to the plate like Robinson did. Mind you Dann wouldn't let him out of his pocket!

Lets get this straight, only 3 established rovers players came out of this game with any credit, yer ex-England goalie (still only 33!) cost £3.5M, rhodes a comedy £8M and dann £6M. Well done muppets.

That's a bold statement. It really didn't look that way on Sunday. I think the realistic Blackburn fans would agree that's the closest we've been for many a year.

However I completely understand your feelings. You've been on top for a long time, it's going to be very hard for you to accept Burnley being the better team in the near future. And even more so given that we've done it through hard work, sensible management and good football.

A bit harsh.

Yes that last gasp equaliser was quite a moment wasn't it, and then the one way traffic that followed in added time. I bet you lot were soiling yourselves at the thought of us popping in a winner. You just held on though.

Yes we were at home and disappointed not to win given the performance but to get a last minute equaliser in a big derby game made it an acceptable result to most, especially when it spoiled the day for all those silenced in the away end..

Rovers are too old, too fat and some can't be bothered to run for the ball unless its passed to within a foot of them.Sorry to say actually but a very medocre team are Rovers now. Keeper and centre backs saved them from a beating on Sunday. Never mind it will be even better when the Clarets drub them at Ewood One fan thinks they should be beating mediore pposition - presume he means like Milwall, Bolton and Burnley. Will be interesting to see if Rovers can lift their game to this level.

It was so one sided first half we were saying how p*ssed off we would have been if we in the away end. Burnley were way the better team even if they shaded the second half.

2nd half Rovers were in control for the most part and Burnley rarely threatened - a point you or any other bitter Dingle loser fails to admit.

You are inferior, lowly, losers who have to sell their best player just to survive - you are going no-where fast - and you know it.
