Chorley's Iain Critchley produced a fine all-round display to earn his side maximum points from their trip to Preston.
Critchley, batting at number seven, made an unbeaten 45 to steer his side to 135 after they had been 38-5.
Will Moulton made 40 off 71 balls. Preston skipper Lukman Vahaluwala continued his fine season with a spell of 6-36.
Spin-twins Critchley and pro Gaurav Dhar then combined to bowl out the home side for 116, slow left-armer Critchley taking 4-21 and leg-spinner Dhar 4-20.
