SPORTSWEAR giant Chris Ronnie is remaining tight-lipped amid rumours of a possible takeover of Blackburn Rovers.
The 45-year-old Scotsman, who is chief executive of JJB Sports, has been linked with a £25 million buy-out of the club.
But a spokesman for Ronnie refused to confirm or deny the speculation.
"We have no comment to make for the time being," he said.
According to the reports, Ronnie has put together a team of foreign and domestic investors with a view to holding talks with the Walker Trustees, although a Rovers source has already denied having any discussions with the businessman or any of his representatives.
