Pendle's Eleanor Markendale has won the North of England under 17s heptathlon Championship at Stoke.
She scored a personal best 4425 points, which also gave her fourth place in the AAAs Championships which were held concurrently.
Eleanor set personal bests in two of the seven disciplines with a shot putt of 8.74m and high jump of 1.56m and set a consistently high standard despite weather best described as changeable.
On the track she cleared the hurdles in 12.25 seconds, and ran the 200m and 800m in 26.21 seconds and 2:32.36.
She threw 25.50m in the javelin and leapt 5.46m in the long jump.
