Sunday: Sunday Hurst Green Turkey Trail Trot.

The trail race covers 4.95 miles and starts from the village hall on Avenue Road.

Entry is £6 and is pre-entry only. There are prizes for fancy dress and a bottle of Copper Drgaon ale to all finishers.

December 29: Ribble Valley 10K Roefield Leisure Centre, Clitheroe. Race starts at 10.30am and includes the northern athletics 10k championships.

Entry fees are £14.60 for an attached runner and £16.60 for an unattached runner.
