A selection of coverage from around the country...

BEN MARSHALL is finally ready to step out of the Ewood Park shadows after he helped end Blackburn’s tough week on a high.

The winger has spent much of the season on the bench since his summer move from Leicester.

But he has forced his way into the starting line-up and netted his first Rovers goal as Millwall’s away-day misery continued.

Daily Star Sunday

Gary Bowyer praised Ben Marshall's influence after his first Rovers goal helped secure an important win. "Ben's performance against QPR gave him loads of confidence, and today's goal should fill him with confidence even more. We know he has real talent, and he wants to succeed."

The Observer

MILLWALL suffered another three-goal away defeat, this time at Blackburn, with controversy surrounding the clincher.

Alan Dunne was hacked down in the Rovers half but ref David Webb gave nothing as the hosts won a corner. David Dunn scored from the resulting flag-kick and it was the vital goal.

Interesting to see the bias of the London Press. It was unconvincing win and wasn't exactly free flowing entertaining football, but it's another valuable 3 points.

Like others have said, it was only when you got outside of the ground that you realised that the wind and rain was shocking. I managed to find a huge bloke to shelter behind while walking up Bolton Road and still got drenched.

Thumbs up to all the hardy souls who braved the weather, a little surprised that only about 30 Millwall fans bothered to turn up, their owners must be even worse than the Venkys!

Showing my age but I can remember in the 70's when the cheeky devils ripped off some advertising hoardings and had a fire at the back of the Darwen End to keep warm.
