SUPERBIKE legend Carl Fogarty will tell stories from his career when he rounds off his third UK chat show tour at the Thwaites Empire Theatre in Blackburn on January 17.

Fogarty, from Blackburn, is revered after winning the World Superbike Championship on four occasions and is embarking on another tour alongside good friend and former British champion James Whitham.

The ‘Foggy and Whit: Givin’ It Gas’ tour was a sell-out in both 2010 and 2011 and they will now do six new dates around England.

The duo will visit Stratford-upon-Avon, Nottingham and Newcastle between October 23 and 25.

They will then be in Chelmsford on January 15 and Stoke a day later before completing their tour in Blackburn.

Fogarty said: “I think everyone who saw the first two tours enjoyed them just as much as we did.

“We keep getting asked to go to different parts of the country so these dates will hopefully reach areas that we haven’t covered so far.

“Come to think of it, James always strays into areas of conversation that have never been covered before!”

Whitham said: “Anyone who follows us on Twitter knows that we like a bit of banter and the chat show format works really well.”

On-stage chat and questions will last around two hours and the event will feature a charity prize draw, as well as the chance for autographs with Fogarty and Whitham.

Tickets cost £20 and to book for the Blackburn event contact the Thwaites Empire Theatre directly on 01254 685500.
