GEORGE Hutchings underline his tennis talents after he was selected to compete on the clay courts of Europe.
The 11-year-old is on of the top players in his age group in the country and was invited by the LTA to train and take part in tournaments in Barcalona and Bressuire in France.
The St Augustine’s High School pupil was one of eight players to travel to Spain where he lost to the number two seed in the quarter finals.
He was then just one of two players to travel out to take part in the Bressuire Tournament, reaching the second round and the semi finals in the doubles.
He has also been selected to represent Great Britain in a six country tournament next month.
“Playing on clay in Europe is a great experience and will really help his game improve,” said dad Jamie.
George and his older brother Charlie, 14, will compete in the forthcoming Clay Court Nationals in Queenswood, Hertfordshire.
