BADGERS JFC U12s have won the league title with a perfect winning record – and all this in their very first season.
Two goals from goal machine Henry Hindle and another from Kyle Siddle in a 3-0 win over Langho made sure the Badgers finished their ELFA campaign with 15 wins out of 15.
The Badgers now play Lammack in the U12s Cup final at AFC Darwen on Sunday looking to clinch the league and cup double.
Club chairman David Stansfield said: “To achieve a 100 per cent record was truly remarkable.
“Credit goes to the team but also the management and dedication shown by managers John MacGeachie and Andrew Darbyshire.”
